"Crown Honda Hendon please avoid them, dishonest" Avoid this dishonest garage, I have proof that they have been dishonest. Please do not bother going to Honda dealerships they will lie to get your business. Once they take your money they do not refund your money back when there is a problem even though I am legally entitled to under this specific act "Section 57 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 states that withdrawing from a prospective regulated financial agreement operates as if a cancellation has taken place. If a cancellation of the finance agreement has taken place, this means that any linked transaction, such as the purchase of the goods themselves is also cancelled. In these circumstances, any money paid, such as the payment of a deposit, should be refunded. " They have ignored my letter of action to court therefore i will be taking them to the small claims court very soon. Honda customer service are very ineffective in dealing with their own dealerships which i think is wrong as the dealerships are representing the brand. Hence I will never buy Honda and I will make sure my family and friends avoid Honda until they start looking out for the customer and start doing what is best for them and not looking to line their pockets with money by withholding deposits which in my case they are not legally allowed to. (Specific to Crown Honda Hendon dealership avoid them please)

I have had my Honda S2000 serviced at the Crown Honda Hendon branch for 4 years and have never been completely satisfied with the work done on my car. Today (08/02/12) I picked up my car at 6pm (nearly closing time) after a service and MOT. With a quick glance at the car before driving home I could see no problems and was quite surprised. Unfortunately, on returning home and having a closer look at the car in the garage with the lights on I found 2 small but deep scratches on the paint work. One scratch just in front of the passenger side mirror and one scratch just next to the aerial near the boot. I have already decided not to bother taking this up with Crown Honda as it would probably involve me wasting time explaining the damage and then leaving my car with them to investigate or repair. As the damage is only minor I can easily fix the scratches myself, but am annoyed that it was not mentioned to me when I collected the car. I am guessing the scratches were probably caused by an electric rotary polisher due to the size and depth of the scratches. So again, I find myself slightly disgruntled with yet another Crown Honda service. The only upside to this story is that I paid £211 for a dealership service with a free MOT. Past Crown Honda experiences... Date 29/01/11. Car serviced and MOT’ed. No problems found. 4 days later when I start the car, smoke is coming from the front of the engine bay. AA call out and engineer tells me the air pump relay is faulty and caused a small electrical fire. He suggests that maybe the relay was knocked when it was serviced and resulted in the fault, or it was just coincidence that the relay failed after 7 years just after a service. Car was taken to Crown Honda Hendon, cost of repair was £1000. Fortunately I have extended warranty on the car and so this work was covered. Date 18/01/11. Collected car and found spilt oil all over the red valve cover. Air filter cover clips not clipped on. Car was not washed, which is the first item on the service schedule. Date 06/02/09. First service on the car of ownership. Collected car and 8 miles were added on the mileage counter. Asked service manager about this and was told the car was driven to a MOT testing station quite far away as the regular testing station was busy. Calculated the distance of the MOT testing station to Crown Honda Hendon using a popular online map website and the distance was 2.5 miles. So after four Crown Honda services, not one in my opinion met the professional standard I expected from a large dealership which is very disappointing. So after today’s service, it is the last time I will be using Crown Honda Hendon.
